Want to look like a Cover Girl – Try a Luminess Airbrush System

Its not a new idea to apply makeup with an airbrush – the pros have been using the same technique for decades. It’s only now that the same type of systems are becoming available to use at home. One of the latest to use the system is the Luminess Airbrush makeup Kit. I’ve got it so here’s my review..

If you want to add a matte, flawless and professional looking finish to your make up then the new Luminess system is definitely worth looking at. If you’ve ever looked closely at the cover models on the big magazines you will notice they have a perfect complexion with no flaws in any of their makeup. The matte look they use is much better than a shiny glossy look as it looks so much smoother. This may make your skin look a little drier but it will create a much better overall effect.

The starter kit I tried came with the basic airbrush that operates at a single speed. Adjustable airbrushes are available with different speeds, but these only come in the more expensive kits. Included in the kit that I ordered was:

•   Foundation .25 oz.
•   Bronzer .25 oz.
•   Highlighter .25 oz.
•   Blush .25 oz.
•   Two eye shadows .25 oz.
•   Airbrush
•   Instructional Video

It doesn’t look like a lot of makeup when you first open the package, but as I’ve found, you don’t need a lot when using an airbrush. The secret is not to put too much on – over application isn’t a good look.
Using the airbrush system, less can certainly look better.

My Review of the Luminess system is very positive. The makeup and the effect you get when using the airbrush is first rate. It can be a bit tricky to get right at first, but once you learn how to use it, you really can get complete, flawless coverage, even over scars and blemishes. I would recommend the Luminess Airbrush Makeup kit for anyone searching for that cover girl look.
