Fake Bake Self Tanning Lotion Review
One of the best known tanning lotions has a large following – but is it any good?
I’ve had it applied before in a professional tanning sallon, however, I’d never tried the ’self tanning lotion’ in the privacy of my own home..
The first major advantage is not having to trek across town and get back home half dressed whilst hoping not to meet anyone on the way back. The pro version looks very dark before you’ve left it a few hours and showered the excess off – not a good look in public.
So how did it go…
Fake Bake Original Self-Tan Lotion’s easy glide formula and ‘show where it goes’ cosmetic colour guide helps you to easily and confidently apply your self-tan. A combination of cutting edge , naturally derived tanning agents DHA and Erythulose work with the melanin cells which lie in the top layers of your skin to develop into a tan that compliments your skin tones for a perfectly natural looking results. If you’re looking for a darker tan, this Self-Tan Lotion can be reapplied over a few days.
The pack includes reusable gloves and a step-by-step guide to application.
I found it slightly harder to apply than St. Tropez, but that’s maybe because I’m used to that. It took a bit of effort to get finished, but not too bad. The first go I forgot to wear gloves and ended up with quite stained palms on my hands.
I wasa bit worried there might be streaks, but there were none – the result was quite amazing giving a really good smoothe tan – if anything better and a little darker than the St. Tropez I had been using.
The tan lasted well for the next week and has led me to convert to Fake Bake whenever I need a top up to my sun tan. I highly recommend it.
I found the best value by buying 3 bottles at a time here.
